The new professional video panels for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo features Barco MiTRIX LED panels fed my Hippotizer Stage 3 media servers. Also new are stage thrusts that put the performers closer to the audience.
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, which celebrates its 83rd anniversary in 2014, draws more than two million people each year to NRG Park. That’s right, twenty days of hair raising rodeo and twenty nights of live music concerts from the worlds most recognized artists. Our production services division departmental teams work together to make The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo simply awesome. Lighting designers work on several positions around the stadium and create a world of moving lights and conventional stage lighting rigs ending up with remarkable atmospheres and spectacular scenes. Professional video content shown 360° around our main center stage production rig and our MiTrix LED panel configurations on and off stage prove to be the hallmark of supporting memorable performances.
Since 1932 over $330 million in charity has been contributed by The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to the state’s youth and Rodeo Houston has set the largest NRG Stadium attendance record at over 80,000 fans present.
